Rental Rules

1. Smoking is NOT allowed.
2. Pets are NOT allowed.
3. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours; Code-enforced neighbourhood quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
4. People other than those in the Guest party outlined in the booking may not stay overnight on the property.  Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of the Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to in the booking.
5. There shall be no camping, tenting or other auxiliary accommodation on the Property without prior authorization.
6. The cottage is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
7. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
8. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
9. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cottage. We suggest you bring beach towels and please do not take glass down to the beach.
10. Place garbage (secure with bungee cord) & recycling in bins upon departure. 
11. The property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed.  DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.
12. Run water in tub for 30 sec to clear out the lines, as dark discolouration is common if the lines haven’t run for a while but will clear out quickly.
